Longmarch Bowling is a company in Shanghai, China, specializing in refurbishing capital bowling equipment and the manufacture of bowling balls, pinsetter parts and other bowling related products. In 2003, with a determination to build the best bowling company in the world, Frank Zhao founded Longmarch Bowling. He understood there would be a long way to go, which was why he named the company Longmarch. In the last few years, Longmarch has been selling refurbished bowling equipment, pinsetter parts, and consumable bowling products such as balls, shoes and pins. Used equipment has been its major business success. Longmarch buys equipment from defunct bowling centers all over China, and then rebuilds the equipment in its factory in Shanghai. This refurbished equipment has been successfully sold, delivered and installed to over 20 countries. As the business grew, it became apparent that a new commercial vehicle was necessary to support the European and Middle East markets. In late 2005, Longmarch Bowling Products Limited was established in UK, followed in 2006 with Longmarch Bowling Bulgaria Ltd. While continually focusing on used equipment, Longmarch is developing into the manufacture of all types of bowling related products. In October 2006, Longmarch installed facilities to start manufacturing bowling balls. Demand proved such that a new factory had to be opened eight months later and it is now in full production. Polyester, urethane and reactive balls are now produced with our unique ball design service. Longmarch understands the importance of quality and responsibility. When reconditioning the used equipment, Longmarch extensively tests all of the mechanical and electrical parts and ensures they function as new. These strict quality controls also apply when developing and making new parts and materials. Longmarch has a unique website, which gives very detailed information of the products. It enables both customers and the Longmarch sales force to communicate accurately and efficiently with each other.
